Designing your own cycling kit is one of the best parts of running a club or team. A well-designed set of kit builds identity, looks great in photos and makes everyone feel part of something. Here is how the custom design process works at Attacus Custom, and how to get a result your whole group will be proud to wear.
1. Start with your identity
Before thinking about garments, get clear on your look. Pull together your club or team colours, your logo in a high-resolution format, any sponsor logos, and any names or numbers you want included. If you do not have a logo file to hand, our design team can work from what you have. The clearer your starting point, the faster the design comes together.
2. Choose your garments
Almost everything we make can be customised. Most clubs and teams start with the essentials and build from there:
- Custom cycling jerseys — short and long sleeve, in summer and all-season fabrics.
- Custom bib shorts and tights for comfort on longer rides.
- Custom jackets and gilets for changeable weather.
- Custom skinsuits and speedsuits for racing and time trials.
- Caps, socks and accessories to finish the set.
3. Work with the design team
This is where your kit comes to life. Share your colours, logos and any inspiration, and our designers will translate it into a kit design. You can refine the layout, placement and detailing until it feels right. The aim is a design that is unmistakably yours and works as a set across every garment.
4. Get the fit right
Great kit has to fit well. We provide size guides so every rider can choose the right size, and our garments are tailored for a comfortable, performance-focused fit. Getting sizing confirmed early keeps the rest of the process smooth.
5. Sign off and order
Once you are happy with the design, you sign it off and we move into production. We then set up a dedicated order page for your group and send you the link, so each member can order and pay for their own kit individually — no collecting money or placing one big order. You will find more detail on minimums, lead times and ordering in our custom cycling kit FAQs.
